Job well done

I retained the Bernstein Hough law firm to defend my daughter who was charged with reckless driving. I wanted an attorney who specializes in defending reckless driving cases, was familiar with Richmond Circuit Court, had at least 10 years of professional practice following law school graduation, and had graduated from a reputable law school. Mr. Gregory Hough satisfied these criteria. What most people don’t realize is how important the paralegal, or legal assistant is, for the client. Mr. Hough’s legal assistant, Jennifer, was conscientious, knowledgeable, and responded quickly to my phone calls/e-mails. The law team suggested that my daughter do 3 things in preparation for her trial. First, she was to provide them with a short biographical sketch that could be presented to the court. Secondly, she was to complete a 12 hour defensive driving course and provide the legal team with certification of completion. Finally, she was to obtain letters of character support from her employers and colleagues. At the trial my daughter went to the wrong courtroom, and never heard her name called by the officer of the court. Mr. Hough represented her without her physically being in the courtroom. Remarkably, the case was dismissed, and she was not responsible for any court fees. I will definitely contact this legal team again in the future if I need their help.
